Solution for wallpaper disaster? In my house there is a room that be a bathroom,...

In my house there is a room that be a bathroom, but it is now converted into a bedroom. I want to paint the room, but within is this nasty revolting stubborn wallpaper that will not come off by any way. It was probably intended to stand up to the heat and humidity of a bathroom.
I thought more or less just knock the plaster down (it is an old house near plaster walls not drywall), but after knocking a hole contained by the wall I ran into another problem that will build that impossible (I'm not going into detail, lets basically say knock down walls is out of the question).
Does anyone have any well brought-up solutions to my problem?
I really don't want to do more wallpaper.
Answers:    Dryline and paint (you could even add some insulation whilst you are at it. You will lose around two inches in respectively direction (less if you are lucky), so much will depend how much space you have. At a pinch if the dissertation is well stuck you could apply bonding agent and enjoy the walls skimmed, but this carries some risk of delamination.
To remove the wallpaper, you have need of to buy a scoring tool that will actually cut into the wallpaper and allow your solution to soak contained by behind the outer surface of the rag.
If you just want to skip that, you own 2 choices. One would be to just cover the existing dissertation and plaster with drywall and finish as you would fresh construction (float & tape joint, etc) or you can try to roll on a coat of a very honest sealer/primer and then try sculpture over that. The bad factor is you may still see some defects within the wall from the paper.
