My boyfriend and I have lately gotten a new apartment. Theres a standing shower, but the floor is not even so when the sea gets within there it runs to the sides n doesnt drain completely. The family who lived there beforehand didnt take thoroughness of it, so the water comes subsidise out sometimes and is a black nasty looking river when it comes up. We're not quite sure how to fix this problem, does anyone enjoy any ideas how to plane the floor out, or is it something you need a pofessional for?

Answers:    If this is a rental - you can't do any remodeling to the shower. Get a squigee, close to for washing window, to push the water into the drain. Takes smaller number than a minute to squigee down the shower and floor after a shower and saves hours of cleaning.

But the drain hindmost up indicates a bigger problem with the drain or plumbing. Refer it to the manager!
If he doesn't respond try an enzyme drain cleaner first to "eat hair" and avoid the yukky stern up. A good enzyme drain maintainer isn't cheap but will drink up organic issue in your drain. Consumer report also recommend "Master Plunger" or "CLR Power Plumber Pressurized Drain Opener" for clogged drains.
If nothing seem to work you can pour some bleach down the drain occasionally to kill the mold.

if you can lift up the shower tray put a piece of 3/4 exterior ply on a bed of mortar the same nouns as the shower tray.whilst the mortar is wet put the tray fund in place and use a spirit stratum
to make sure tray is smooth and the water will run contained by plughole when all is dry grout around podium and re attach pipes
