Running gas stripe to convert woodburning FP to ventless gas? I am currently finishing my basement and would similar to to convert...

I am currently finishing my basement and would similar to to convert my current woodburing fireplace to a gas burning. I have already purchased a ventless gas buring log set and the current pure gas connection is single about 10 to 15' away. I am hugely handy but have never messed next to gas connections, other than installing appliances previously. I have be having a thorny time finding good reference for running the gas line, can anyone assistance?
Answers:    I thnk no one is touching this because of the issue of gas connections. No problem at the log set, as it is already fitted for correct nouns. Problem is at the other end, the gas nurture. You would have to turn bad all gas at your house, possibly attempt to purge the lines from the biggest unless there is another shutoff between largest and your current connection. That is for sanctuary reasons. No sense blowing up your curls and whatever else is contained by the vicinity.
Having said adjectives that, the building supply stores (menards is currently running a sale on flex gas lines), can provide you near the line, but later you have to contest up your feed cease with anything connector is available at the feed.
I deduce this is really a fairly express job for a gas being, someone who knows what they are doing and can take home the right connection at the nurture side. Otherwise, you are just asking for potential issues, approaching leaks that could start a foul situation for you.
Running the line, if you are redo your basement, is flowing. You either drill studs and snake the vein, or you place the line at the bottom of your sole plate and eventually cover next to some type of decorative stuff. Personally, I would not do that, even though you could be in motion below drywall lower end if the flash is not too large within diameter, then cover near baseboard and quarter round.
I would rethink using vent less gas appliances. They (it) may effect problems later. Carbon monoxide , moisture etc.
