I am looking into having a deck built. It is 16'x12'. Ledger board w/ flashing is already installed on house. It will be your makeshift wood deck with a bench along one of the 12' sides. I freshly need a rough quote. This is for labor singular! $500? $750? $1000? I live in Richmond, VA.
Answers: You better plan on at tiniest $2000 unless you are going to hire some illegal aliens! Which isn't a discouraging idea - it's basically that a contractor will run you at least $1500 and probably closer to $2000. I am assuming this is going to be at smallest 10' off the ground. If it is ground plane you can probably get it for $1000-1300.
