I have two older wooden rockers. The runners on both have broken right where on earth the chair leg fits into them surrounded by the back. Whne I look for replacement parts on rank all runners are 34-36 inches but mine weigh 29 inches. I have suspected that they hold been replaced since and I wonder if they were made too small.
Q. Can I replace them beside an ordereable 34-36 runner or does it have to be like size in charge to work properly?
Answers: if the runners fit the leg spacing they will be just fine. As long as they arent too small that would compromise match. Go for it.
Like James said, the important point is the leg-hole spacing. The replacements are made for a variety of chairs so unless you have tipping problems, your original runners be long enough.
