I am running approximately 40 feet of black pipe for a pneumatic tool. I will be putting on a frozen air dryer.

Will the atmosphere dryer also work as a filter, or should I get something else (what?) to verbs the air until that time the tool.

Where does the refrigerated nouns dryer go? Does it turn inline right before the pneumatic input, or right after the compressor output?

Any other advocate is appreciated. I am sloping the black pipe up at a slight angle, with a drain shortly after the compressor output (is this needed next to the dryer?)

Thank you
Ideally you want the dried refridgerated air to nurture the input of the compressor otherwise you are going to fill your cistern with hose.

You will still need a filter but you can put it first entity on the output side of the compressor.

It depends upon how cold you get the atmosphere with your cooler. If you can take the incoming air below it's dew point, the hose down will condense and drain out of the air previously you compress it. Most likely you won't know how to do that, unless your air flow rate is enormously low.

If you can't get the upper air below it's dewpoint, you will waste your refrigeration, because the stroke of compressing a gas causes it to to roast up dramatically. So you will just be reheating the cooled nouns.

There are charts available to determine dewpoint. I've included a link to one site that may sustain.

I would recommend that the cooler be downstream of the compressor.
Answers:    you can have the heavens dryer right after the compressor output. you can also put a filter/regulator/oiler combo before point of use (i.e. right where on earth you are going to be hooking up your tools
