Having just laminated the floor i find that my radiator is leak from directly beneath the right hand spout.I have checked the tightness of adjectives the fittings and they are ok.Can i fix the leak by removing the spout without the involve of disconnecting the complete radiator?

Answers:    is it leaking from the stem that holds the helm ? (thats the shut off handle) You can put some more packing string contained by the nut and that will stop it.

some shut-off valves can be repaired others must be replaced. See if you can find replacement parts for the spigot. Your local hardware shop should do those. However make sure the valve arent to tight or it will cause erosion.
