Radiator combined flow/return TRV ? My radiators are all of the type have the inlet and outlet...

My radiators are all of the type have the inlet and outlet in one piece at one cease of the radiator, with an internal tube.
I want to install thermostatic valve on the radiators. Are TRV's available for this type of radiator, or am I going to have to exchange all the radiators for the conventional type?
Thanks.
.
These valve cannot be converted, and they are very expensive to replace, loose change to trv (make sure they are bi-directional, so it doesn't matter which side you fit them), flush the system and install inhibitor on completion.

Try this site ednasantiqueshop.com/radiators. It discribes about single piping & dual pipeing surrounded by radiators.

good luck
Answers:    what you are decribing are call duel valves.no you dont necessitate to replace the radiators.take the dated valve rotten including the insert, take the plug out at the bottom of the other wrapping up of the radiator.you can now fit conventional trv and lockshield types.your system must be pretty outdated, make sure it get flushed out and treated.
