My bedroom is going to have a Laminate Floating floor -Click/Snap-
And my corridor is carpet..

How do I separate the hearth rug from the laminate, without the wood popping up and getting adjectives screwed up?

-Excuse my ignorance
Answers:    Get a transition threshold. It is either a peice of wood or metal that covers the transition from hearth rug to hardwood, or laminate.
you can buy a divider that matches the floor ,go between the floating floor and the carpet . you can pin it down with finishing pin or there is a track that the divider snaps into you can buy it at the store where on earth you bought the floating floor .
