Im in Arizona its hot but we also get monsoons .. after the precipitation the pool water turned cloudy and green ( I was still keeping up the chem. within the pool) Well I added Pool Shock and Adjusted the PH levels the water is without a flaw fine chem wise but the green and cloudy look wont go away. I even took a poly/nylon scrub brush and scrub all the pool walls and bottom to loosen any algea .. its still the same. Again the chemicals are fine when I question paper the water.

Can anyone reccomend a chemical that will clear the water and the green that have actually USED it please, I don't want bottomless info I want someone who has used the product back.

Its a large in ground pool lima bean shape. Thanks
Backwash cycle can gradually raison d`¨ētre filter media (sand) loss; check level contained by filter and add if necessary. You don't hold to change it. Keep your filter system constantly running.
The pH level is a lesser problem. First shock / super-chlorinate - this is paramount. Then adjust pH, calcium hardness and total alkalinity levels.
This process can appropriate 2-3 days depending on how aggressive the algae bloom.
If this process does not improve pool clarity you may have to add on 'flock' to the pool and then change your filter sand. Consult pool provider for details.
There is no easy or quick fix. Heat and bather nouns can dramatically effect a pools chemistry.

Your filter system may not be working properly. You may want to put in alien filters that are top quality as tiny particle can still pass through. After the fires in CA concluding year we had to replace the filters twice to in actual fact get the pool clean and clear again. We also have to get an extra floor filter vacuum thing that scoots around the bottom attached to a hose (sorry I forget what it is called). Our local pool supply store be happy to help us. Good luck. Simply correct the sand in the filter. If the algae is in the sand you will never take the water clear. Two years is too long.Change it every spring.
Answers:    put 16oz of algacide surrounded by it to kill the alga once you get alga it would help yourself to a ton of chorine to kill it use the algacide
