Polish aluminum? I'm trying to figure out nearly getting one side of a 24ft...
I'm trying to figure out nearly getting one side of a 24ft aluminum trailer polished into looking like a mirror.
Can aluminum grasp all shiny and polished resembling a mirror if it has scratch on it? They aren't deep scratch but, more like scratch from, lets read out, sandpaper.
Answers: Though deeper scratches might not come out it could still be polished. I've see semi truck trailers and airplanes polished.

You basically start near a coarse polish to smooth the metal and take out scratch then work to finer and finer polishes. There's also a sealer that can be applied so it doesn't oxidize as in the blink of an eye.
