Paint! Please minister to...? I went down to the paint store and looked at adjectives...

I went down to the paint store and looked at adjectives of the color swatches they had. I contracted on a light coffee color, which the store consequently mixed for me. When I painted, it seemed fairly light, but thought I'd grant it time to dry, as paint always dries a dark shade than what it is when it's wet. Now I look at it, and it is harldy any different to what I have before, and it is not one and the same color that I chose.

Now what??
Take it back and relay them that you wasted your labor. Always buy the best paint such as Behr's from Home Depot.

Another connotation. Don't be afraid of color. if you are timid with color, you won't find the effect you want. Next time paint a few different swatches of color instead of the whole wall. Wait a few days and see which one you close to before you do the unbroken room. Many places will sell you a preview sized can.
Well since you had the paint custom mixed you can't bring back your money back. You will hold to live with it.

OR, if you want it lighter you could buy some white and make a payment to it to make it lighter.

OR, if you want it dark you could take it support and ask them to darken it for you.

Good luck !
Answers:    Did you bring the chip home and look at in your house? Often the reading light in the store is nil at all approaching the light surrounded by your home. Your paint can should have a sign on it that has the describe of the color and the tint formula. Take your finger and dip it in the paint, later apply it to the chip. Don't completely cover it, but then permit it dry and compare it to the color shown. If it's way rotten, take that contained by and ask the paint store to replace the paint they mixed for you with untried paint mixed properly.

If the shade is just slightly different, you may be out of luck. Many paint stores own disclaimers about them not anyone responsible for slight variations within the color.

Good luck.
Check the paint against your card first. Then if it checks out, take it rear and ask the to tint it a few shades darker or lighter to your appetite. I find it hard to beleive you didnt buy a indication pot first for a few bucks to check, would have save you heaps of money now. I repeatedly buy half a dozen example pots first before going and buying a full size tin of the colour i like. Maybe dont try and rush things next time
