i'm a dumb **** and broke a glass...the worst part of the pack is some of the pieces went down the drain. I get what I could out, and i figure I'd permit the garbage disposal do the rest....and immediately it jst makes this wierd humming rumbling...oh crap.
so this is what i need to know.
1..how to fix it myself
2..minus calling a plumber
3..without replacing it
4..adjectives before 9pm (its 7:37p.m. right now)

Answers:    There should be a reset button on the bottom if its not responding to the switch anymore. Then you requirement to physically move the auger mechanism. Allen wrench from underneath as others suggested. If this doesn't work you may enjoy to disassemble the drain with an adjustable wrench to physically remove the let.

First turn off the power.Then find the angled allen wrench tool and put it surrounded by the shaft opening at the bottom of the disposal. Then turn it fund and forth and try to unjam the thing.
