Its like this delicate plaster type wall I guess. So what do I need to fix it? supplies and adjectives!
Bag of plaster (multi-finish)
Plastering trowl
Mixing bucket
PVA to prime the wall first..adjectives can be bought at a DIY store.
Been here, done that, like this:
1) how big is the hole? does it cover the distance between studs? If so, you entail a chunk of drywall of the same concreteness as the wall material - expand the hole to run from 1/2 way across 1 stud to 1/2 across the stud at the far expire of the hole; use wall screws or nail to attach the drywall to the studs, be careful to shift in @ an angle!! If the wall is drywall textile, use drywall tape & mud, dry when sand, paint.
2) If the hole is small (fist-sized, for instance), use a wire hangar w/one lapse in a plus sign (w/1 ending pointing 'up', like a weekly towel holder) same size as the hole; cardboard cut in a square to cover the hole; punch the 1 finishing that points up through the center of the cardboard, force the 'backing' through the hole w/wire hangar part on the far side of the hole - this give you a way to 'hold the funding in place' while you're wadding the hole with spackle
Answers:    get a bucket of mud at the hardware store a putty stick spread the mud over the hole let dry sand down and paint over.
