Our microwave stopped working last hours of darkness, but when we got an extension cord and plugged it into another outlet it worked. Assuming the outlet be bad, we replaced it near a new one. Microwave still doesn't work contained by that outlet. Any reason here might now be power to the outlet? We enjoy turned the breaker on and off several times.

Answers:    Look for a tripped GFCI. Trouble shoot the circuit next to a volt meter. Or call an electrician. Many of the other answers are silly. Be tight-fisted about electrical support from untrained and unqualified people.
