I would like to paint paneling but want advice from those who enjoy done it. The paneling in grill is sheet paneling with a semi-glossy finish. What would you recommend as a primer, and would you recommend using latex or oil-base paint? The paneling is located contained by a low traffic area
Answers: yes, TSP is great for removing shine. I'd use Kilz primer, later latex paint, especially if it's low traffic. Are you planning on filling within the paneling grooves or just drawing over it? Keep in mind that depending on the sheen of the paint, those grooves will any show more or less.
