can any-one tell me if my internal heater boiler hang on to over heating is it the pump that have gone i cant hear the pump working the boiler strike up and after a short time the overheat insubstantial comes on and switch the boiler off as a precaution i would read out any ideas please

if the pump is still hot and the boiler is firing later pump may of packed up , or but for then try to see if theres an overheat reset button re set it afterwards try again
