Vaillant Turbomax 824E. Want to refill next to water and build up the pressure. Any counsel please?
Answers: If i remember correctly the Turbomax combi should have a "built-in" padding link. If you look underneath the boiler where the pipes connect to it you should see a silver braided hose which is reasonably thin. On both ends of this braided hose here should be small black things which look like little lever. Turn one of these a quarter of a turn and then turn the other one one and the same, you should hear a rushing sound which is the middle heating nourishing, keep your eye on the pressure compute on the front of the boiler and when the pressure reaches between 1 and 1.5 stick you should turn both or these little levers final to their original positions (i.e. the OFF position) Your heat system has very soon been jam-packed (or topped-up). You should probably bleed the radiators after doing this. Ensure you keep an eye on the pressure assess because as you're releasing air this will explanation the pressure to drop slightly. As long as the pressure in your heat system is between 1 and 1.5 bar when cold you should own no more problems.
If the pressure continues to drop after you've filled it up afterwards it's either gonna be a ooze somewhere on your heating system or conceivably a faulty expansion vessel or Pressure nouns valve. If this is the grip then you should contact a qualified heating/gas fix.
Hope this has help??
There is most likely a hole some where on earth if you can plug up the hole it will go up.
