Hello. I am a beginner contained by do it yourself projects. I have a room of 12ft by 13ft. I am planning to put laminate floor. I want to know how much square foot is that. Also, one of the panel of the laminate floor is 7.6in by 47.7in. How many panel would I need for that room? How do I consider square feet? I am strange at all this and I stipulation help.

Thanks surrounded by advance
Length x Width = Area

So in your skin: 12 x 13 = 156

Add another 10% for cuts, etc so buy 170 square feet.

Each of the laminate pieces covers 2.5 square foot so you would need: 170 / 2.5 = 68 pieces.

Round up to the subsequent full case.

Good luck!
12 x 13 = 156 square feet. You in recent times multiply one side, by the adjacent side to acquire square feet.

Each panel is a smidge over 2 square foot, so you'll need in the order of 78 panels, and later you have to include going on for 10% more (8) because you'll be trimming some of the others to fit, so at least 86 panel.
Answers:    12ft x 13ft is 156 sq ft

7.6in x 47.7in converts to 2.52 sq ft.

This converts to 62 panel on a raw proof, but you need to article for how many you are going to lay within a certain direction and the potential for have to use partial panels within certain parts of the room. You typically requirement to order an extra 10-20% to cover for this as in good health as mistakes. 70 panels should be satisfactory for your room.
Length x depth.

Division will get you the answer concerning how many panel, but you should assume cuts, and extra, as it regards throw away. Obviously the lenght of each assumes that 3 will fit at the 12 ft. length, next to cuts neccesary. The same can be said if you place them perpendicular to the 13 ft.

In any satchel you'll still have cuts to determine, and completely likely some guide to work on, even in that the pieces of stock will not adjectives butt and join at exactly impossible to tell apart place.
