I'm painting raised panel kitchen cabinet doors we made out of MDF. Painting 2 coats primer, 2 coats white grease base, 3 coats polycrylic, sanding within between each coat. The backs are done. Have the first blanket of polycrylic on the fronts. Can I use liquid sandpaper before the subsequent coat of polycrylic?

Will it change the color at all?

Will it affect the sound final gloss finish?

Have spent HOURS and HOURS painting and sand these 15 doors, front and back, my arm is ready to trip up off and I just want these darn things done. (But I still want them done right),

Next time I will use genuine wood, seems MDF is actually more expensive when you include in the cost of paint, sandpaper and HOURS of work.
Answers:    No don't use a liquid sandpaper. Buff surrounded by between coats with a sanding sponge. You will hold much better results!
