Leaky stoptap ? I have be turning the mains marine off within the tackroom on...

I have be turning the mains marine off within the tackroom on cold nights to prevent frozen pipes but the stop slap is leaking - it leak from below the tap ( the D side) and it now leak whether it's in the stale position or the on position and the water is running adjectives over the floor. The tap is located within a tiny corner behind the toilet - how do I fix this ?
It is the gland nut that is leak. At the end of the slap spindle where it go into the tap body, here is a nut on the end of the spindle. Try tightening this nut a full turn and see if it stops, but not so tight that you can't turn the stroke on and off. If it still leak , then unscrew the nut around 4 threads and wrap PTFE tape around the threads and tighten down . The drip from this nut is running to the bottom of the touch which makes it appear that it is leak at the bottom.

This should help-

Answers:    You can try tightening the bottom nut on the league, but, check first as I think it may in actuality be coming from the spindle where the stroke head meet the body, if this is the case, tighten the little nut at the podium of the spindle, not too much or the spindle won't turn when you try to turn the tap, the bleed is caused by constantly turning the stroke on and off, it is adjectives, and that is why I guess it is the spindle and not the tap body which is leak.
