hi can anyone tell me how to fix a switch connected to the middle of the lead.i tried opening it but i can`t.Any tips please

Answers:    They usually cannot be repaired once they break. Take the kerosene lamp to a small appliance repair shop to have the switch replaced.

If you can't take the switch open, you could cut the chain on either side of it if there's ample slack in the chain, then seize a new switch. Before that you should troubleshoot to fashion absolutely sure it's the switch and nil else.
