Just three days ago, we had a tub installed in our house, and contemporary tub with new walls . etc... and everything go well, but after the second shower, the water would not drain, and very soon everytime someone showers it takes LONGER and LONGER to drain everytime (Several hours).my mom is so upset because she just spent so much money getting a alien tub, and now it's doing this :(..we don't want to call a plumber because it's a foreign tub, and we had a warranty on it, so she called the ppl who installed the tub for us, but the receptionist which answered the phone be so rude and insisted that it was our fault and that we should carry a plumber! What can we do to stop the clog? thanks for any and all back :)
i would call them back and ask to speak next to the owner. the construction crew put sheet rock mud, caulk down the drain. they should fix this problem. if a plunger doesn't work the drain will most likely need to be snaked. This sounds similar to a clog in the drain. Hair, soap or whatever. Use Liquid Plummer, Draino or a snake. You might be surprised on what you verbs out of the drain.
nouns like the forgot to hook the drain back up ,name them back to make sure ,the didnot for get hold of to remove something ,cause if water procure under you tub it can coast a lot more contained by the long run. This always happens to my tub & sink.I own found that the best way for it to work is to use draino. It is this liquid/jelly type stuff that helps verbs out the drain.it is sold in most groccery stores. that might help!
perfect luck!
Answers:    Sounds like the construction crew were too indolent to vacuum up the debris created from the tub installation and simply flushed the debris next to the water from the faucet. Looks like you enjoy no choice but to call a plumber and have the drain cleared by a snake. He can probably rest remnants of the clog and make the installers to pay for the plumber's cost.
Uhhhh, Wasn't it bonded plumbers that installed the tub.Get the installers back and call a attorney to sue the putzes. couple of things here..

after you take a shower or bath, procure a plunger and work the drain, though make sure you water within the tub. You may have something lodged in the pipes.

if that doesn't work, i recommend a industrial type drain cleaner, that you can buy at a local hardware store. this is hydrochloric sour, and should be handled with great vigilance. the rule is acid into water and not the other instrument around. after you pour it in, cover the drain with a plate or pot surrounded by case of a burst.
FYI let the marine drain down, then pour the acid within. Also if you have older pipes, specifically galvanized, this could cause you a problem, though is fine next to PVC or copper.

if all else fails, phone up a plumber!

good luck!
