Is the extractor for a 870 Wingmaster alike as an 1100? I am having problems next to my wingmaster's extractor striking the barrel...

I am having problems next to my wingmaster's extractor striking the barrel when trying to close the handling. I was told that I have the wrong extractor installed. They said I had a 1100 extractor contained by the gun. They switched it charged me $56.00 and I still have the problem. Has anyone out near heard of this problem?
I hold a belt drive garage door starter...
Answers:    Yes. Now this happen to me about 20 years ago, so I don't know if it's exactly matching but the gunsmith told me that I had bought the wrong extractor and that I have an 870 extractor for my 1100. Also, I had the extractor pin move about out at least once a year on the 1100. I finally go to a Winchester and it's never happened!

Response to your extramural comment: that is a different problem than mine be. Mine was shell related.
