Is plaster (Multi-Finish) straightforward to sand down? I plastered my bathroom walls (skim) I would like to sand it...

I plastered my bathroom walls (skim) I would like to sand it down to administer it a better finish, I have an electric sander..would this be a glib job or would it be easier to confer the walls another skim..thanks

If sand is the easier option do you hold any tips on keeping the dust to a minimun.
I'm not sure roughly speaking your particular brand of plaster. I do know that Joint Compound will "sand down" next to a wet sponge or sand broadsheet. to keep the dust down you might try keeping a small garden srayer complete with hose down and sray it in the atmosphere. maybe a sander next to a dust catcher too, but you are in a small space-so i expect it's going to get dpretty dusty no situation what.

No its not biddable.
give it a skim next to Gyproc Joint Adhesive. (Tubs), then delicately sand, it will come up like chalice.

Joint adhesive is not a bodge. it is adjectives practice on most new builds.
Answers:    its easy to sand down providing its fully dry (pale pink)..if you get to sand it down you must be a rough old plasterer ..be off well alone..
