Is in that anyway to preserve an entire pumpkin? I own see gourds one preserved.Is here anyway to do this? I have be through a lot this year...and seeing it have reminded...

I have be through a lot this year...and seeing it have reminded me of the things that I have be through....is there anyway to perserve it?
I would say no, the skin on a pumpkin is thoroughly, very adulterate where as the skin on a gourd is pretty thick and sturdy like wood when dry. Plus the pumpkin have 'meat' on the inside, the flesh would rot and not dry hard, the gourd doesn't hold this flesh on the inside.


you could other use it as a candle mold. there is stuff to sort candle molds at craft stores.

Answers:    I focus that the best way would be to favourably hollow it out so that you are left beside as little of the soft flesh as possible and then to stuff it next to dry newspaper so as to preserve its shape. One could also overrun it with dry sand but this would be difficult if it be carved. Leave it in a dry atmosphere for several days, shifting the newspaper (or sand) as it become damp.

Pumpkins are more runny than many of the gourds that one see preserved but I am sure that it is possible to preserve them in like peas in a pod way.
