I agree you should consider the waste you'll hold based on the overall size. If you jump 10 by 16 that's just 5 sheets of plywood for flooring beside no waste. Also 10 foot joists(floor and/or ceiling) are jammy to come by with no spend and rafters would be more or less 6 feet long (2 out of a 12 foot board) so again no refuse. All the home improvement stores hold sheds set up outside so go appropriate a good look, you might not entail a set of plans.
A 12' X 12' building would create much less fritter away, and would probably be easier to construct for a novice. Plywood comes within 4' X 8' sheets.
The next grill, would be rather you would resembling the construction to be based on 16" centers, or 24" centers, the latter requiring smaller number lumber, but also being slightly weaker.
A gable, is the closing stages truss of a roof, or a stick built version of a triangle, within any of various angles or "pitch", as it is referred to.
More question would involve the wall heights, approaching 8', 10', or 12' walls.
As for plans, I believe there are moderately a few sites in which you could gain plans, but I doubt that they would be free.
