Answers: What kind of tools are you looking for? I'll pass you a list of my recommendation. These are based on what tools I own, as capably as what tools the contractors I work for supply.
Milwaukee: Sawzall, cordless drill, Magnum corded 1/2" drill. impact driver
Porter-Cable: Circular saw, router (Look at the multi-base kits available), belt sander, finish nailer, pancake compressor (nailers and compressor available as a kit), disorganized orbit sander
Bosch: Jig saw (there is none better), Bulldog hammer drill
DeWalt: Drywall screw gun
Panasonic: Cordless drill
Paslode: Framing gun, cordless finish gun
Most of these tools are available near cases. If they have one available, bring back it. Makes it a lot easier to get extra bits, blades, etc.
Obviously, you will need some time to add these tools. You can drop a few subtle hints to your family around your birthday and Christmas. I get a bunch that way. Hope this help.
You have plentifully too pick and choose from. Everyone has in that own opinion as too which one is the best but the certainty is Dewalt, Porter Cable , Bosch and Makita are all excellent tools but it is adjectives going to boil down to which one you like. I am a woodworker too. I hold Dewalt, Porter Cable and Craftsman tools.
