I have replaced the tile contained by the bathroom except for the tile around the toilet. My wife wants a stool height toilet but in that is nothing wrong beside the one we have immediately and I hate to replace a well brought-up toilet and thought that a 2 or 3 inch pedistal would be perfect but I don't know if they exist. Does anyone know if this can be found?
Well the cheapest passageway is to get a form extention they sell them at med. supply stores. You in recent times take the form off and afterwards screw the extention on the same road.
Anyother way is to verbs the toilet, build a raised platform around the flange, next have a plumber lift the flange. But your talking just about big bucks.
Well you have the previously mentioned options-raised toilet form, pedestal, platform at base/raise flange, etc.
It may be worth it to replace the toilet to collect time and money, especially considering future problems you may obverse with an irregular toilet form or irregular pedestal (instability, ugliness).
Just hold your wife pick out a nice toilet, ADA height.
Answers: Get your wife the toilet that she requests. Let her pick it out. Show her that you appreciate her by taking her to home depot and letting her have her choice. Then, compliment her on her inspection after it is installed. Don't hem and haw about how you could own just replaced the dais part. If you try to be in motion the cheaper way out and it looks unpromising then you will never live it down.
Pick your battle!
