I found live shrimp surrounded by my toilet...i saw them come up after i have made the first flush...is that common?
thats creepy! do u live close to the ocean? anyway best bet wuld probably be call a plumber because at hand has to be a problem with your pipes I find this not average. Never heard of this before
It would as expected, have been conscientious for you to add some details, IE" do you live Over a Body of salt dampen? Do you live in Louisiana in a flood plane? Has the toilet be sitting UNUSED for a long time? First of all it's not NORMAL for the toilet to back up,,,PERIOD. The vent first showing equates to 4 inches, and is not filled with dampen. Second,,,the water that does fill the bowl, comes from the reservoir.
It's highly unlikely they are SHRIMP, certainly not surrounded by a toilet that's used often. That equates to the fact that WATER is lone in the S trap, not entirely filling the sewage drain plumbing.
Did someone flush ultimate nights dinner down the toilet?
While Mosquito or other larvae are a minute possibility, that would depend on the use of the toilet, and Mosquito's LAY eggs surrounded by standing water. Certainly too, in standing marine there are other organisms that will LAY, and SWIM. Mosquito's are not strictly an aquatic species
I suspect a plumber MIGHT extend something, or an entomologist.
Just my two "sense"
Answers: The only way you could own shrimp (if that's what it is) after flushing is that you have shrimp in your toilet cistern, that's where the flush water comes from. Check the cistern, you have a prankster in your midst possibly.
I seriously doubt they are shrimp.lol Probably some kind of incest larvae approaching the other person said...But that IS a very abnormal place for them to appear..Pour some bleach in the toilet and let it set. That will murder whatever it is. i would call contained by a professional and make sure they are not a harm to you, what country do you live contained by
I know this is unhelpful but ILL!! no
Someone have been eating too much seafood. are they live shrimp or mosquito larva?
Shrimps (like crabs) are natural scavengers. They can survive on extreme environment. They nurture on almost all organic materials so you will know that they are skilled of living in your septic tank (ewwwww!). As for the grill, "is it normal?", the normal piece is if they can be found on sewers and tanks. What is not normal, for me, is that they be able to climb onto the toilet and expose themselves (lolz) Do you live in an apartment building, these may own come up from someone that flushed them.
If you live near a water nouns, with a sump, there are question about it. I am till trying to find out how my daughter got crawdads contained by her sump pit, she's about two hundred feet from a hose source and quite deep. They come surrounded by occasionally.
