there is a heath and safty answer to this as its over 45 yrs old-fashioned the correct ans , will get a sweet i will donate to myself thanks
A nearly blind person sued a shipping company after individual scalded in a shower, as they assumed that the HOT was on the LEFT I'm so glad you know the answer to your query, now go and soak up your sweets.
yes it be well over 45 years ago, more like 60 years. This be when if you even had a well, in attendance was NO hot water and as Mezzie said Most ancestors were right handed. With solitary 1 water faucet, the common choice be it to be on the right. Then when water heaters came around, no one wanted to metamorphose the cold over, so hot became left. It is also considered a sanctuary factor by today's standards. Because it is mostly universally done that way. But at my house the way you turn them rotten and on is reversed due to an error the previous owner did, but we didn't change it, just get used to it. Remember to brush your teeth after your sweets.
I've seen single tap sinks (cold on the right side) and also no thump automatic ones with premixed temperature sea which are my all time favorite ones as long as the sensors work. More hygenic.
And then within are the faucets with one lever - another whole nouns of thought for you.
Wash your hands before you munch through. : )
Answers: Now look what you own made me do!
I had to get up and check my tap , the hot water is not always on the not here, not in my house, and it's modern enough to conform to any safekeeping standards.
Health and safety 45 years ago? I dont think so!
Maybe it is because most people are right hand and automatically select that side tap first.
Putting the hot tap on the departed makes it less probable they will accidentally choose it and scald themselves? You don't really know the answer to this question or you wouldn't have written it on Answers. YOu are bluffing. What other secret do you have?
Could this be a basic health & sanctuary issue?People with no or partial sight would know how to tell which tap is which, also, next to some substances,if you get them in your eyes the directions are to rinse your eyes beside cold water.
Would it not make sense to know by touch which stroke you are using if you can`t see? The hot tap is always placed on the not here in agreement with a request from the Royal Institute for the Blind, so that near is a standard acceptable to the blind.
I know the answer, and I'm going to award myself TWO sweets..
