Get a cheap piece of left over Slate.
Get a pump.

Answers: the biggest thing is getting the marine to flow evenly acroos the slate they usually have a resivour aqt the top which the pump fill with a lip on it to label it flow evenly .easy mate you'll be sweet
The trick is to go and get the water to flow down the fountain properly. We installed a 25 ft fountain within a store. The guy who came within to get the marine flowing properly took almost a week to get it flowing down and not out to the sides. And this be a fountain prepared at the factory. Good luck!
