Does anyone know how to make a monogram spotlight? Like a light that shines initials onto a wall. I know you call for a spotlight obviously, but what kind of matter do you need to put on the lens of the light that won't burn up. Or can you use a piece of weekly or poster board? And how do you go about making it? Thanks
Answers:    You are looking for GOBO lighting. A Gobo is a cup or metal template that is used with lighting to imitate the monogram.

Hi Lance,
You might want to ask someone at a lighting store if they offer special trim packages for a recessed lighting route, seems like I've see this. The other option is to find someone with a table jigsaw, close to a machine shop might have, and own them cut it out of a piece of sheet metal. You could paint it with high bake paint to match the fixture you may have, but I couldn't suggest a mounting method minus seeing the fixture itself.
