How to dangle this shelf? I bought this shelf from a store and I don't know how...

I bought this shelf from a store and I don't know how to hang it. It has a sort of v-shaped metal bracket going along the top of the put a bet on of the shelf. What do I use to hang it on my wall? Oh and I don't know if this helps but the shelf's something like 2 feet long. Thanks!

Answers:    You wouldn't be able to supply a pic would you? I've hung a few shelves and that isn't ringing any bells, but it isn't for a cantilevered shelf is it? (if it is the pointy extremity of the V should have a big long space for the shelf to slide into one shelf is attached to the wall so that will tell you the screw holes should be exactly opposite) If it is metal at hand will of course be holes for your screws (screws for shelving not nail please, nails can and will pull out lower than pressure, screws bite into the wood - speaking of which you are hanging this from studs surrounded by the wall I hope?) otherwise you will either have to dance back to where you bought it, (or check their website?) or post a picture I judge.
