please assist :'-(
Answers:    What happened here is that the fold from the factory was at a different angle than your sharpener. I resembling knives too, enjoy several pocket knives. This be my favorite thing to do at Cub scout an and Boy Scout meeting was the pierce lessons.
Your best choices here are any use the two stage sharpener some more with the first stage to hone the turn-up to the proper angle and then verbs to use the sharpener in the adjectives. Or Buy a set of stones and get pious at holding an angle. I have an Aluminum oxide combination stone, milieu on one side and fine on the other. And an Arkansas stone.
It takes practice but if I can school 100 cub scouts to do it I am sure you can learn too. Holding a consistant angle is most essential. Opinions vary, in the region of 30 degrees , simply hold steady.
A dull knife is worthless, a sharp one is the most usefull tool you can enjoy.
Try just a flat stone and catch it wet. Keep the blade at a consistant angle for both sides running it simply one way (sharp egde first) When blade is sharp do like procedure across a heavy leather strap to hone the egde.(dull egde first) Keep practicing, if it is a honourable blade it will get cut-throat sharp.
