Hello, I just cut undo the applicator tip of a new bottle of superglue remover (containing acetone). Unfortunately it exploded adjectives over my desk unfortunately onto my LCD eyeshade. Why the screen itself looks fine, the plastic bezel around it and the stand are covered within whitish dots that don't go away beside plain wiping.

Sorry for the oxymoron, but what do you do to dissolve a solvent? My expensive monitor looks remarkably unsightly now.

Unfortunately, the remover is a type of corosive. Feel of the spots and see if you feel a slight ridge. Chances are the spots are permanant.
