I have a small domestic garden and I want to bring an area of grass, fence it bad and make an sheltered vegetable plot. By 'enclosed' I mean I want to hang on to the dog off the nouns.

I was thinking of digging the nouns over, buying some treated timber to make a frame (about 4" high) and consequently attaching chicken wire to it to stop the dog climbing surrounded by. I will then buy contained by a small quantity of top soil. It's any that, or get hold of some aged railway sleepers but I think that would work out more expensive and more difficult to manoeuvre on my own.

It will lone be a small patch, but I was thinking of growing carrot, radish and perpetual spinach. Any other suggestions would be most welcome!
