How to fabricate and polish granite? ...
Answers: Granite fabrication is as expected just a step contained by a complete counter top installation, so let's assume you've already performed the preliminary tasks: template and adjectives of the slab.
To fabricate (i.e.. to create the edge profile you desire) is much similar to routing wood. In fact, vastly similar equipment is required: a router and router bits.
However we are talking stone here an not soft wood, so the specially-designed router will be lashing duty, waterproof, and remarkably expensive ($3-5 thousand).
The bits themselves will be built with fixed diamonds, and a complete set for just one specific top profile (yes, you will need the complete set of 5 grades) will set you back at lowest possible another couple grand.
Besides the tooling cost, the time it take is considerable, and the danger of breaking the stone or hurting yourself is a realness.
(This is team endeavour, BTW - never attempt to move heavy stones alone!)
For these basis, although it is possible to fabricate and polish it yourself, you'd be far better off have a professional do it for you.
granite in the courtyard already has a finish.--to fabricate it is not flowing the product(slab) weighs like mad.--but you take a template of the counter .--then you cut it near a wet saw.the nose is an entirely another lesson and to do that isnt easy for the designer look.--u want to spend about 25 a foot installed is a great price.--get that--shop etc etc.--and do it that track is my advice.
