How to dispose bad blade blades ?
I have an old peanut butter jar (plastic) into which I toss hoary single edge razor blade, utility stick blades, and mat cutting blades. In about 40 years, it will be full and I'll toss it surrounded by the recycling or trash. What used to be done was to own a medicine cabinet in the bathroom that have a slit in the back. The cabinet be designed to fit into a hole in the wall the the razor blades would move about down between the walls.
I guess you could collect them till you have sufficient quantity (maybe a few kilos) to trade to a bit dealer :)
btw...i read somewhere that you could prolong (read atleast double) the life of your cut-throat blades by drying them (use alcohol/hair dryer) after every use.
Answers: Straight blades should be put into a folded piece of cardboard (with the fold at the blade) and put a piece of tape around the entire thing afterwards just put in the litter.
dull the blade as much as possable, then wrap it inb cardboard, then cassette it then throw it away Use an old bandaid tin. Close the top beside tape when filled.
