They are less than an Inch gluey, and I"m gunna build a DIY Sump for my Marine Fish Tank, and I"d like to know an inexpensive and past the worst way to cut them. Just to permit you know Im only 14, so zilch that dangerous please. I'd also resembling to know if I'd need anything else besides the tool used to cut it, gratitude!
Answers:    You can cut acrylic with anything you can cut wood beside -- hand saw, circular saw, table saw, belt saw, router, sander, etc.

The cleaner the cut the better glue common there will be (hint).

I'd suggest finding a local woodworker and giving a few dollars to cut it to size for you on a table saw near a carbide blade.. It will be neater and cleaner than what you can do on your own.

Leave the masking on until adjectives the sawing and shaping work is done.

You will also need a special cement -- either a gel within a tube or a water-thick liquid contained by a syringe. A good set of clamps is essential to variety a strong and tight joint. The woodworker may be capable of help you beside this too. The easiest way to gum is to clamp it all up and run a bead of the gooey down all the butt joint. It will suck into the joint by capillary handling, melt the plastic, next harden. If you own a leak, dry it out and basically repeat the process in the leaky areas, or lay surrounded by a fillet (bead) of silicone caulk, compatible near aquarium use.
The things you'll need are....familiarity , tools , safety equipment and the skill to do the available job.
