Answers:    Depends on where on earth you are, materials you use, value of the house you are attaching to and the quality of finish materials you are using. Do you hold to add electrical capacity?, heat and cooling?, plumbing?.

Figure $30.00 to $40.00 per square foot materials on the low end if you aren't adding any plumbing, bright heaters/coolers and you have enough electrical dimensions to power the addition, and you are keeping the finish materials on a budget.

If you are adding a tub and keeping the finish to the same standards as the house you are adding to, amount a finished square foot price about the same as the appeal of the existing house.

There are a lot of variables here, such as access to the site, how far for concrete, availability of materials, delivery, site conditions, dirt hauling, etc. Look for difficulties that you will own to overcome and add for all of those items.
