Answers: Call your local lumber yard, they sometimes endow with discounts... Not only that but lumber prices fluctuate depending on the building bazaar and the backlog of lumber. Then, there's a regional difference in price, i.e., the price is different between what a store in Seattle charges one within New York.
But seriously, instead of wasting time and space, just phone up the lumberyard or one of the box stores.
