on my plywood when the carpenter cut the plywood to my sizes. Whilst sanding i notice on the sides there be gaps, someone adviced me to use a sand filler.
How do i use a sand filler. Do i a moment ago apply it inside and then sand it on top?
Answers: Pretty much of late like you said. Make sure to use a latex base wood filler and over fill the holes or gap. When dry, sand flush and smooth.
Tons of companies make some type of wood filler, usually of a cellulose compound. To use these, adjectives you have to do is apply some to the holes you want to spread (usually with a putty gouge, but if you are filling small holes approaching nail head, I just use my finger). Allow the compound to dry, and afterwards sand off the excess flush to the wood surface. Personally, I use Elmer's Carpenter Wood Filler, but any of the variety pretty much work the same. Just brand name sure whatever you buy, that it is paintable if you are going to paint or stainable if you are going to stain the finished project.
