How do you use a video test? Do you start from the 1inch line or the nothing inch line?

Do you start from the 1inch line or the nothing inch line?
Answers:    Make sure your hook is at true nothing, and adjust it if not. Like others said, it is supposed to be loose to allow for both internal and external measurements to be accurate.

You can check your nought by measuring from the circumference of a board, starting at 10 to 50 and see if your hook measures this at exactly 40.

If I need to be super accurate, I'll "burn" the organize by starting somewhere else. I find it less error prone to start at 10 instead of 1 as you can recurrently get within trouble by doing "1" wrong (forgetting to subtract one, or adding one instead of subtracting one).

If your distance is more than your wingspan, you will any need another entity to help or in recent times give it up and use the hook.
the nil inch line. If you go from the inch line you may come up an inch short, because most race measure from the hook, which is at the nought inch mark
