i have stitched a small design on an aida and would like to stick it to a handmade stuff totebag. how do you do it? thanks.
SEW it on.don't stick it...glue that works on material isn't stron enough to cope with the sort of stress that a tote go through.just backstitch it on.

You can get iron-on double sided sticky stuff fabric (vilene, or bondaweb) that would do this job. Also, pva would do it short permanent status. I suggest you'd be better sewing your piece to the totebag so you could remove it if you wanted to put it onto something else later. There is a textile glue that you can use it is named "sew-No-More" You can purchase a tube from WalMart - Michael's or
any store that sell fabric.
Answers:    In theory you can use iron-on cassette but I would not rely on this -much safer to sew it on, also to whip or tape the edges to endow with a neat finish.
