Hello, I have only just purchased a ceiling fan beside a REMOTE.
Out of the FAN comes a blue, white and black wire which attaches to the blue, white and black flex of the REMOTE RECEIVER.
Out of the RECEIVER comes a black, white and green wire.
However, out of our CEILING within is a bare copper rope (ground that attaches to the green wire), a white wire, a black rope, and a red wire.
With a black, white and ground cable that is supposed to hook up to a black, white, red, and ground wired ceiling, what am I supposed to do?
