I want to drill through a candle holder so i can hangit on the wall
They own drill bits made just for glass at Home Depot and Lowes. All you enjoy to do is pick the size. That's what I did. It takes a special drill bit that can be purchased at your local building supply store like Home Depot or Lowe's.
There are special appear point drill bits for boring holes in cup. You will need to use a handheld bit brace or a power drill set to run at a low speed. Don't bother. It's a lot better to win candle holders that are made for wall mounting like these for example:

They could probably be found at a number of local stores similar to Target and many stores in malls.
Answers: Use a carbide bit and drill at a low speed. Spray with a light grease to lubricate the bit every few seconds. Don't be in a hurry, going slow will help out prevent breakage. If you really like this candle holder you might not want to drill it. Its very flowing to break glass when drilling.
