I just want to know how to make plain candles and Soap..
Solid Soap not Liquid Soap.
And purely regular plain candles.
Thank you ! :]
travel to michael's or ANY crafts store. They have several kits and individual supplies to form easy candles and soap
Right. Craft store for a kit. You can get any color you want by count crayons to the wax. For the soap, go to your public library and check out "The Foxfire Book". This is a series of at least 3 books - you can cram how to do almost anything as it was done years ago. Pretty interesting even if you don't want to do anything! If you can't get to a library, google "soap making". Have fun! for soapmaking - check out Kathy Millers website - http://www.millersoap.com
also check out some of the elder posts on HomeABC.net - there enjoy be many others with your same cross-question - they have lots of great comments from others who have answered eariler posts.
Answers: Candle and soap making are not really that hard, but you do have to be careful (making candles and soap can involve high temperatures, flammable substances, and potentially toxic chemicals). For candles, the beginner should start with container candles (usually within tins or glass jars) as this will get you some experience working near waxes, wicks, dyes, and scents. Note that in attendance are many differnt types of waxes (container, pillar, soy, gel) and scent (not all are all locked together). For soap, you should start with melt & pour (M&P) to achieve the hang of it. I would recommend that you look at some of the sites I provided links to, take a lesson, or buy an introduction book/video. There is a great deal of good and bad information out here, please use caution.
