It seems approaching it's got to be simple, I've done it previously. Now I can't find the instructions, can't figure it out and can't find any information on tightening the collet on the internet.
I can press the button that stops the collet from rotating, but even beside a wrench I can't seem to turn the collet to tighten it near the button pressed.
Tool guys, help!
Their must be a problem with your tool because i.e. exactly how I change the bits contained by my Dremel. Press the button and turn the collet to loosen. Are you saying that it won't tighten? Are you pressing the button adjectives the way down?
I wonder if your collet is dilapidated some how. I'm sorry, wish I could enjoy been more of assistance.
Good Luck
You already understand the process and the tool, and how to. Perhaps the jaws of the collet hold become misaligned/worn/ etc.?
Bit sizes are pretty standard in diameter, no event who manufactures them. Does the tool LOCK when you press the lock button?

Perhaps Eskielover will find this Q. She offer excellent suggestions.
Answers: There are different collets for varying sizes of bit. It sounds similar to you might be using a bit with a smaller shaft than the collet will tighten to. I enjoy three different sizes for mine.
