Theres a wall in my house that have texture paint on it and underneath that, I started peeling it bad with a spackle cut and there be compound underneath it, adhered to the brick. and its a ***** to catch off.

Answers:    Sharpen up the spackle axe so it is like a cut-throat blade an go to town on it. They do engineer chemicals that soften epoxy resin check at Home Depot.
